Occupational Safety and Fire Protection

According to the Occupational Safety and Health Act, risk assessment is the most important document in the field of occupational safety at the employer. The Risk Assessment is supplemented for any changes and disturbances in the work process that cause harmful consequences for the safety and health of workers.

All employers, regardless of the activity and number of employees, are obliged to train workers to work in a safe manner, within 60 days after employment, until then workers can work under the supervision of a trained worker. Trainings can be conducted only by authorized legal entities that meet the prescribed conditions.

With each change in the technological process, the work of the worker or the name of the job, it is necessary to carry out a new training of workers to work in a safe way.

Work areas should be marked with appropriate safety signs (instructions for safe work, evacuation and fire safety instructions).

The employer is obliged to determine the evacuation and rescue plan in case of an emergency and to inform all workers about it. Based on this plan, practical evacuation exercises must be conducted at least once every two years.

• Testing of stable fire alarm and extinguishing systems (fire alarm, hydrant, gas alarm, fire dampers and doors and sprinkler and drencher systems)

• Training of workers for the initial extinguishing of fires (training of the population for the implementation of preventive measures of fire protection and rescue of people and property endangered by fire)

• Preparation of Fire and Technological Explosion Risk Assessment

• Development of Fire Protection Plans

• Microclimatic parameters – temperature, relative humidity, flow rate

• Lighting – light intensity, uniformity of illumination

• Noise – in the workplace

• Chemical hazards – concentration of vapors, gases, fumes, aerosols, concentration of total and respirable dust

• Measurement of air flow velocity in ducts, grilles and outlets

• Determination of the amount of intake / exhaust air of ventilation systems

• Calculation of the realized number of air changes in the room

• Calculation of the amount of fresh air supplied per person and per hour in the room

Inspection and testing of work equipment refers to work equipment, plants and means of transport and transport of cargo according to the regulation on safety and health when using work equipment.

Based on the Ordinance on safety and health when working with electricity, the Technical Regulation for low-voltage electrical installations and the Ordinance on technical standards for low-voltage electrical installations, we perform:

• Current measurement – errors

• Measurement of the tripping current of the differential current protection device

• Measurement of the tripping time of the differential current protection device

• Measurement of insulation resistance of electrical conductors

According to the Technical regulations for lightning protection systems on buildings, according to the Ordinance on technical regulations on lightning rods and in accordance with the norms and the Technical regulation for lightning protection systems on buildings, we examine:

• Making sketches of lightning protection installations of buildings
